After the legal merger of Commerzbank AG and Dresdner Bank AG on May 11th, 2009, Dresdner Bank AG will cease to exist as a separate legal entity. Dresdner Bank will remain as a brand for the time being. With respect to total assets and number of clients, it is one of the leading European banks.
